I recently watched a show in which a shift on the planet led all inhabitants to become truly connected. In our spiritual reality, this is what reality is, but here, our connection is more about adversity than about care for the general welfare of all.
Still, the one thing this sci-fi-ish show got me thinking about was that whenever anything was needed, nobody asked for the answer; it was simply known that a need existed, and those nearest to it responded and resolved it.
In our current reality, things like that would be construed as miracles, where everything just fell into place to resolve a problem we had. But what if that isn't a miracle? What if it was just a moment when the natural flow of our true connection seeped into this reality? We can call it a miracle, but is it really just a momentary lapse in exclusion?
I am going to dig deeper into what it takes to experience the 'miracle' of natural flow and what helps you experience it more often, if at all.
But first, let's set up a few base concepts I will work from:
- We are not bodies. We are spirit beings experiencing a physical life, even as we perceive ourselves as being in a body.
- Our spiritual aspect is fully connected to all spirit, and nothing is needed. There is no such thing as lack in any form.
- The trade-off we accepted for being physical is that we have accepted that lack, suffering, deprivation, heartlessness, and death are all inevitable.
Our physical existence is one in which we think we see all there is to see, but don't realize how much we're missing. We accept things as they are because that is how they have always seemed, and we are often blind to other options or opportunities.
To better understand this, let's imagine for a moment what a physically blind person may experience. Their world consists of what they have confirmed to be in place, and they must be cautious with each step they take, constantly reevaluating whether things are as they are.
If there were a doorway that led somewhere new, they would not know it existed, even if they passed within inches of it, unless something compelled or guided them to look for it. This is not a judgment but a reality of not perceiving that a different path may be available. And even if a new pathway were discovered, it may feel safer to stay on the path you know, so the other path may be ignored or outright avoided because of the perceived threat to our safety.
Our existence in this physical world somewhat ensures we are blind to what spirit would have us see. We are always walking past doorways to what we would call 'miraculous experiences,' and the only reason they would seem miraculous if we did stumble upon one is because it is so extremely rare that we do.
So what does it take to see these paths, choices, options, directions in the first place? What must we do so that we don't ignore or even hide from them when they are detected? And what would it take for them to be such common occurrences that they are no longer seen as miracles, but as things that happen as we need them to?
Let's dig into this together.
Most of us have had an experience when something just presented itself at the right time. That moment will still be in your memory years later because it was often tied to a pivotal shift in direction or capability. We may have deduced at the time that we were being protected and extended some degree of gratitude to whatever may have created that memorable experience.
Still, why did it happen? What did we do, say, or be that caused that specific thing to happen without request, when there are so many things we pray for and beg for, yet there is nothing?
I have to take you down the rabbit hole a little to explain some of this better.
Our physical reality is only a shadow of true reality. Things are made in our physical reality, but they are created in spiritual reality. Things that are made are temporary and fade away because they are 'imagined into being' by us while we are deliberately disconnected from our source creator. However, things that are created are perfect and last forever because they result from our creator and us agreeing on something and then extending ourselves into this new creation.
From our creator's perspective, the things we made are simply illusions and shadows because they are not eternal and therefore not real. From a spiritual perspective, they don't exist.
So, when we ask for something to be provided in this physical world, such as a job, money, a partner, physical healing, housing, etc., we are asking spirit to help us with something that does not exist from its perspective. Therefore, that prayer or request cannot be answered as we might expect. It's like saying, "I am having trouble with my nothing and would like help healing my nothing."
The Holy Spirit, however, has a unique role at this time: he knows what we believe we see, even though he knows it's not real. He has no desire to take away anything we have determined to be precious, primarily our freedom of choice. If we find value in aspects of our pain and misery, he lets us keep what we have chosen because we value it in some way.
It sounds ridiculous that we would value what we often cry out for to be resolved, but if we dig deeper, we often give special meaning to things that are destroying our bodies and physical world.
Remember, we are not bodies in a physical world. For every microsecond we believe we are, we accept the limitations guaranteed by this existence, and, to compound it, we reinforce our connection to this existence by embracing our issues. For example, have you ever spoken repeatedly to gain attention because of illnesses, emotional issues, or struggles? Have you said you're getting too old for things? Have you shared that life is hard, life is unfair, or that you feel as though the world is against you?
Every one of those statements or thoughts, and millions more, is us providing special value to what afflicts us. We project those thoughts into the world to gain attention and to prove we should be helped, nurtured, or simply pitied. They make us feel special or unique and can be twisted into our perceived identity. Spirit honors what we value and will NEVER take that from us as long as we find value in it.
Likewise, since we are all connected, what you label in another is something you also believe is possible for you. We attack because we think another may attack us. We see others as bad and believe they should be punished. We see other bodies that are sick, disabled, and struggling, and accept that this is simply how it is.
What we believe is inevitable for ourselves or anyone else is what we have accepted as real, and we unconsciously protect it as our identity because, since this world is an illusion, our perceived identity is all we really have.
How can we work with spirit to help us with our problems and improve our lives if we are simultaneously holding on to many of the things we are asking to be released? We begin by clarifying the levels. There is a physical level and a spiritual level. On which level are we asking for healing?
Imagine an image projected on a screen at a movie theater. It looks real, and we accept what we see, laughing and crying as the movie plays. If something happened that confused us so much that we fully believed the screen was real, we would start doing things that are quite insane. If an injury appeared on the screen, we would run up, apply a bandage to that area of the screen, and then stand confused that it made no difference. We would talk to the characters, expecting a reply, but then feel ignored because they never seemed to see us. We could get angry at what the characters were doing, and yell and scream and throw things, but the chaos and manipulation on the screen would just continue without being fazed.
This is what happens when we ask spirit to fix something in this physical world. This world is a projection of our minds, so the end result on the screen is not where any healing could ever occur. Healing happens at the source of the projection, and nowhere else.

Your financial issue isn't about not having money; it's about believing in lack. Your body's ailments aren't the result of disease and circumstances beating down on the body; they're the result of believing in decay and death. Our issues with others' bad behaviors aren't about what they're destroying; they're about our belief that we have no control and are helpless.
This means that a simple shift in our cries to spirit is all that is needed.
Imagine this instead:
You are facing financial issues, in pain from an injury or illness, and upset about what is happening around the world.
Acknowledge that this is not how it should be and that somewhere you made a choice that allowed this circumstance to exist. Accept that, even if you don't understand, you are responsible for your circumstances, not anyone else.
Express this by saying to spirit, "At some point, I asked to experience lack, decay, and despair, and I have either received what I asked for or accepted what I believed was inevitable. I no longer choose this experience. I hand my beliefs about lack, decay, and despair over to spirit for correction, and instead invite the experience of abundance, health, and peace."
Notice that in this conversation, you are not focused on the physical issue on the screen. You are focused on the source behind the projection, because that is where true healing occurs and where the real you exists.
So, as physical people in physical circumstances, we can contrive potential solution after potential solution to experience the results we desire, and we sometimes achieve that, momentarily anyway, but our rewards do not often last. Plus, others often pay for what we appeared to benefit from, and therefore it wasn't an answer, but just a temporary manipulation of circumstance.
Alternatively, we can accept that we do not have an answer within this physical experience and that we need to step out of it to rewrite the program at its source so the projection changes. We may not know how it would change, but any change at the source will alter the results in ways we had not anticipated.
This is how we step into the doorway we have not seen before. Accepting that we do not have the answers within this physical reality always opens a doorway you could not see before, because that doorway does not exist otherwise. It's not a doorway you must find and then walk through. It's a doorway you allow and transcend into.
This means that when we did have that occasional 'miraculous' experience, it was because we unconsciously welcomed one of these doorways, released an error we valued, and let spirit rewrite our experience. Because it happens so rarely and most likely unconsciously, it surely is a miracle. But as we are now learning, it could simply be a way of life in which we consciously welcome our beliefs being reorganized and rewritten so the projection we experience is less stressful and less disheartening than it would otherwise be.
So then, how do you resolve your financial issues, health issues, and all the other issues? Stop seeing them as the focus of what needs healing. Place the focus for healing at the source, where it belongs, and then believe in spirit's capacity to rewrite the projections you experience in this life. In effect, you will be letting spirit know where a need really exists, and they will simply respond and provide the aid without your needing to ask.
If you do this occasionally, you will experience miracles. If you do this all the time, those occurrences will become natural states of being.
